PERSONAL DATA POLICY
1. General1.1 This policy describes how DK-TEC A/S, CVR. 16503940, collects and processes personal data about you.
1.2 The personal data policy applies to personal data that you submit to us or that we collect via DK-TEC A/S's website: www.dk-tec.dk.
1.3 DK-TEC A/S is the data controller for your information and all contact with DK-TEC must be made via the information listed in point 8.
2. What personal data do we collect, for what purposes, and the legal basis for the processing
2.1 When you visit our website, we automatically collect information about you and your use of our website, e.g. which search terms you use on the website, which type of browser you use, your IP address, your gender and the time you spend and the categories you visit when you use our website.
2.1.1 The purpose of the data we collect is to optimize your user experience and the function of the website, including targeted marketing such as re-marketing and re-targeting via Facebook and Google. The processing of your data is necessary so that we can safeguard our interest in constantly optimizing the website's content and its structure.
2.1.2 In addition, the purpose of your data is to be able to identify you as a customer and to be able to deliver the goods you have purchased from us.
2.1.3 The legal basis for the processing is the EU Personal Data Regulation, art. 6, subsection 1, letter f.
2.2 When you buy an item or communicate with us via the website, we collect the information you provide, e.g. name, address, e-mail address, phone number, payment method, information about which items you purchase and delivery requests, as well as information about your IP -address from which your order was made.
2.2.1 The purpose is that we can deliver the goods you have ordered and thereby be able to fulfill our agreement with you, including to be able to manage your rights to return and advertise the goods you have purchased. Information about your purchases is also used so that we can comply with legal requirements such as bookkeeping and accounting.
When purchasing via our website, the IP address is collected with the aim of preventing fraud.
2.2.2 The legal basis for the processing is the EU Personal Data Regulation, art. 6, subsection 1, letters b, c and f.
2.3 When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect information about your email address.
2.3.1 The purpose is to safeguard our interest in being able to deliver newsletters to you.
2.3.2 The legal basis for the processing is the EU Personal Data Regulation, art. 6, subsection 1, letter f.
2.4 On our website, you have the option of actively signing up to receive newsletters and other offers via direct marketing. When you sign up for our newsletter, you will be asked to provide your e-mail address and agree to receive direct marketing from DK-TEC. Hereby, DK-TEC A/S collects information about which IP address the registration was made from.
2.4.1 The purpose is to safeguard our interest in being able to send newsletters and carry out targeted marketing.
2.4.2 The legal basis for the processing is the EU Personal Data Regulation, art. 6, subsection 1, letters b and f.
2.4.3 YOU can unsubscribe from receiving the newsletters at any time. You can do this via a link in the newsletter itself, via your account on the website or by contacting DK-TEC A/S.
3. How long your personal data is stored
3.1 Storage of the personal data depends on the purpose of the personal data.
3.2 When you visit our website, your information will be available for use for re-marketing and re-targeting. This information is not deleted unless you actively ask for it to be deleted from these databases (however, see clauses 3.4 and 3.5).
3.3 When you buy an item from DK-TEC A/S, we need your personal data as documentation until the item has been paid for and delivered, a possible cancellation period has expired and the deadline for payments has expired.
During the current contractual conditions, your information is stored in our IT system, after which the personal data is archived.
This information is filed under your user information and will be visible to you when you log into your personal account on our website. This information tells you what you have previously ordered from DK-TEC, the order address and the delivery address.
3.4 Your information about previous purchases is deleted from the webshop when they are more than 5 years old.
Your personal data will, as a starting point, be stored by DK-TEC A/S for a period of 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the item belongs, according to current regulations. If the purchase e.g. was made in October 2017 and the financial year runs up to and including April 2018, according to current regulations we are obliged to store the information until the end of the financial year 2023 at the earliest.
3.5 When the personal data is no longer relevant and we are not obliged to store it, all the personal data relating to you will be deleted. If you have not shopped with DK-TEC A/S for 5 years, your personal data will be deleted.
4. Recipients of personal data
4.1 The personal data that we collect about you in connection with the fulfillment of purchases at DK-TEC A/S or when visiting our website is primarily used for general customer administration. This includes, among other things, to fulfill the purchase agreement you have entered into with DK-TEC A/S and to send invoice information, which as a rule is not passed on to third parties.
4.2 Information may, however, be left to external business partners who process the information on our behalf. We use external partners for e.g. technical operation and improvements of the website and targeted marketing, including re-marketing and re-targeting. Some of these partners are data controllers and some are data processors. All business partners must comply with legal requirements for the processing of personal data.
4.3 Two of these data processors are Google Analytics v/Google LLC. And Facebook Inc. Which is established in the USA. The necessary guarantees for the transfer of information to the USA are secured through the data processor's certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, cf. EU Personal Data Regulation art. 45.

5. Your rights
5.1 In order to create transparency around the processing of this information, we, as data controllers, must inform you of your rights.
5.2 The right of inspection
5.2.1 You are entitled at any time to request information from us about, among other things, what information we have registered about you, what purpose the registration serves, which categories of personal data and recipients of information are may be, as well as information about where the information originates.
5.2.2 You have the right to receive a copy of the information that we process about you. If you would like a copy of this information, please send a written request to info@dk-tec.dk . You may be asked to document that you are who you say you are.
5.3 The right to rectification
5.3.1 You have the right to have incorrect personal data about yourself corrected by us. If you become aware that there are errors in the information we have registered about you, you are encouraged to contact us in writing so that the information can be corrected.
5.3.2 You have the option to correct the approval for receiving newsletters yourself via your log-in on your user profile on our website, cf. point 2.4.3.
5.4 The right to deletion
5.4.1 In certain cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal data deleted by us, e.g. if you revoke your consent and we have no other legal basis for continuing the processing. To the extent that continued processing of your information is necessary, e.g. for us to comply with our legal obligations, or for legal claims to be established, asserted or defended, we are not obliged to delete your personal data.
5.5 The right to limit processing to storage
5.5.1 In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data limited to storage only, for example if you believe that the information we process about you is incorrect.
5.6 The right to data portability
5.6.1 In certain cases, you have the right to have personal data that you yourself have given us delivered in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and you have the right to transfer this data to another data controller.
5.7 The right to object
5.7.1 You have the right at any time to object to our processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, including the profiling carried out in order to target our direct marketing.
5.7.2 You also have the right at any time, for reasons relating to your personal situation, to object to the processing of your personal data which is not carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, cf. Sections 2.1 and 2.3.
5.8 The right to withdraw consent
5.8.1 YOU have the right at any time to revoke a consent you have given us for a given processing of personal data, including for the receipt of newsletters and direct marketing, cf. point 2.3. If you wish to revoke your consent, you can do so automatically in your account on our website or by contacting DK-TEC A/S at info@dk-tec.dk .
5.9 The right to complain
5.9.1 You have the right at any time to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Borgergade 28, 5, 1300 København K about our processing of your personal data. Complaints can include submitted by mail: dt@datatilsynet.dk or by phone: +45 33 19 32 00.
6. Deletion of personal data
6.1 Information collected about your use of our website cf. Point 2.1 is deleted after 5 years, cf. point 3.
6.2 Information collected in connection with your registration for our newsletter is deleted when your consent to the newsletter is withdrawn, unless we have another basis for processing the information.
6.3 Information collected in connection with a purchase you have made on our website cf. Point 2.2 will be deleted after 5 years. Accounting material is stored for 5 years until the end of a financial year in order to meet the requirements of the Accounting Act, cf. point 3.4.
7. Security
7.1 We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures against personal data being accidentally or illegally destroyed, lost, changed or degraded, as well as against it coming to the knowledge of unauthorized persons or being misused.
7.2 Only employees who have a real need to access your personal data in order to perform their work have access to it.

9. Changes in the personal data policy
9.1 DK-TEC A/S reserves the right to update and change current guidelines for processing personal data. If the guidelines change, the date of 'last updated' is corrected at the bottom of the page. These guidelines are evaluated and, if necessary, revised once a year.
