These terms and conditions apply to both private customers and business customers. In some areas, however, the terms and conditions only apply to one of the customer groups. It is clearly stated when this is the case.

 

Regardless of whether you are a private or business customer, please read all points carefully.

    Markings and legal requirements: All DK-TEC products are CE-marked and comply with all legal safety requirements in the countries to which we deliver.

    All products are manufactured according to the requirements that apply within Danish legislation. The products also comply with the applicable requirements in the rest of Scandinavia and large parts of the EU. If we receive orders from countries other than Scandinavia, we always check whether the tool/machine in question meets the requirements of the respective country before the order is executed.

  • Agreement

    A fully valid agreement between the buyer and DK-TEC is only considered done at the moment the goods are sent or upon DK-TEC's written acceptance.

    Please note that an order confirmation is NOT considered to be a fully valid and completed agreement - but simply considered a copy of the buyer's shopping cart.

    However, it only happens in very few cases that an order is cancelled. This can, among other things, be on the basis of suddenly arising logistics problems and erroneous prices. Read more under the tabs: "Prices" and "Total reservations".

  • Prices

    All prices on dk-tec.eu are stated in Euros (EUR).

    Be sure to look at the European website if you shop outside of Denmark and/or Norway. If you are on the Danish site (dk-tec.dk), you cannot count on the prices, as these are stated in Danish kroner (DKK).

    The prices are stated both with and without VAT, depending on whether you are a private person or acting on behalf of a company. You choose this when you access the site for the first time. However, it can always be changed again if you wish.

    You will find the two options at the top left of the screen. This is visible regardless of where you are on the webshop. 

    Reservation: DK-TEC reserves the right to cancel a transaction if incorrect prices have been given on the webshop, as these are generated automatically and/or may contain printing errors. The order confirmation that is sent out is thus a copy of the shopping basket and not an acceptance that the transaction has been completed. In the event of a price error, DK-TEC A/S will contact you, and you will be able to cancel the purchase at any time.

    DK-TEC also reserves the right to adjust prices on an ongoing basis. This can, among other things, happen as a result of changes in relation to taxes, production prices, freight prices and other external factors.

  • Payment

    Payment is always collected in Danish kroner (DKK).

    You can pay with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB and Mobile Pay. When this payment solution is chosen, the amount will only be deducted from the buyer's account when the item is shipped from DK-TEC's warehouse. However, for some card types, the amount is reserved on the customer's account from the moment the order is placed and the payment is approved.

    It is also possible to choose to pay via Bank transfer. In that case, the order will only be sent when the amount has been received or the buyer has presented proof that the payment has been completed on his part.

  • Property relationship

    DK-TEC A/S reserves the right of ownership to the delivered goods up to the entire purchase price incl. delivery costs have been paid.

    The buyer undertakes to keep the delivered products free of damage and insured until the entire purchase price has been paid.

    The buyer may also not transfer, pledge or resell the item(s) before the entire purchase price has been paid.

  • Right of withdrawal

    As a private consumer, you have, according to Danish legislation, a 14-day right of withdrawal, which takes effect on the day you receive the item.

    In order for us to credit the item at full price, it is a prerequisite that it is returned in the same condition as it was received. This means that the item must not have been used - even if it has been cleaned afterwards.

    If you have purchased a custom-made or modified item (including, among other things, if you have had a fastener welded on) the right of withdrawal will expire.

    If you have modified or added something compared to the item's original condition, it cannot be returned. This also applies if you have applied liquids yourself in the form of e.g. oil or gasoline.

    If you regret your purchase, you must contact DK-TEC. You cannot invoke the right of withdrawal by refusing to receive the item, stopping payment or simply sending the item back without prior contact between you and DK-TEC.

    As a business customer, you do not have the right of withdrawal.

  • Delivery terms and prices

    Delivery prices

    The delivery price depends on which goods you buy. If you buy more than one item, you do not have to pay delivery for all of them, but only for the item with the highest delivery price.

    You can always see how much you have to pay for shipping if you click on the shopping cart.

    Delivery terms and delivery time

    For items ordered and paid for before 14 on a working day, it applies that DK-TEC commits to dispatch the goods on the following working day. Goods ordered at a later time than stated - or in connection with the weekend, as well as Danish public holidays, are sent after two working days at the latest.

    Delivery within Europe generally takes 5-10 working days.

    For goods that must have a bracket welded on, it applies that these must be ordered before 12 on a weekday if it is to be ensured that the item is dispatched the next weekday.

    Error deliveries

    If you receive a wrong item, or receive an item even though you have not ordered anything, it is important that you contact DK-TEC as soon as possible.

    Transport damage

    If you, as a buyer, receive an item that appears to have been damaged during transport, please contact DK-TEC before using the machine/tool.

    Denied receipt of goods

    The buyer cannot make use of the right of withdrawal by refusing to receive the goods. If the buyer refuses receipt of goods without notice, DK-TEC will charge for both freight, return freight and the other costs that will be associated with the refused receipt of goods.

    If the buyer refuses to accept goods, without prior agreement with DK-TEC, of custom-made goods (including tools with welded-on fasteners or other modifications), the buyer can be charged for the entire price of the goods, as well as freight, return freight and other costs associated with the refused goods receipt.

  • Preparation of machines and tools

    Unless otherwise stated on the page for the individual item, all tools and machines are sold and delivered in a ready-to-drive condition. This means that DK-TEC's assembly team has assembled, welded and in other ways prepared the machine/tool before dispatch.

    Some tools can be bought unassembled for a discount. When this is chosen, the customer himself is responsible for all assembly, assembly, welding etc.

    However, for some goods, it applies that, for reasons of transport, there are some parts that are not fitted before dispatch. When this is the case, we always offer detailed instructions on how the customer can retrofit the individual parts themselves.

    It also applies - again for transport reasons - that in several cases no liquid is applied to e.g. engine, gear and hydraulics before dispatch. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to check the oil/fluid quantity before use. This is very important.

  • Back order/pre-order

    If an item is not in stock, this is always clearly stated. In cases where it is possible to pre-order an item, an expected stock date is always stated. It is important to emphasize that the expected date in some cases can be moved. This will most often be based on delivery difficulties. In this case, the customer is always informed if the delay exceeds a few days, and the customer then has the option to cancel the purchase.

    When the customer has purchased an item on back order, DK-TEC always arranges to resend the item as soon as it has arrived in stock.

    DK-TEC reserves the right for printing errors. Both in relation to prices, image and video material, specifications and descriptions. This applies both on the webshop, on social media, newsletters and printed advertisements.

    DK-TEC corrects the error in question as soon as we discover it ourselves or are made aware of it.
